Notice:
Etruria
This piece is reminiscent of a trip to the etruscan necropolis in Tuscany. It relies on a simple musical gesture, attack and resonance. Cristal Baschet resonance is meant to merge with other instruments in a same sound material. The musical idea to insert the Cristal Baschet in chamber music ensemble is first confrontation timbres between Cristal new and little known, and those of traditional orchestral instruments embodying an obvious instrumental identity. The musical interest of this confrontation timbers is to exploit by writing the ambiguity that can result.
